This started off as an email I kept sending to people and then updating every time. Instead, I’ll try to keep this updated.

General Apps

• Instacast (podcasts, far better than syncing from iTunes)
• Consume (usage monitor)
• Calcbot / Soulver – two calculators I can’t decide between
• Simplenote (note syncing with a website and also other devices)
• The Age Good Food Guide
• Articles (good Wikipedia app but on a budget you could just use their free one, or just the web)
• Pocket Weather AU (weather app that gets data from the BOM and therefore kicks the default app’s arse)
• Metlink

• Verbs (GoogleTalk, AOL, Facebook chat)

• Words with Friends - clunky app but it’s inescapable now. Some may prefer Wordfeud.
